LAKE FLY LINES

Powerflex Core AquaLux MidgeTip
The single strand monofilament core AquaLux MidgeTip line design was conceived and ested by some of the top stillwater anglers in the U.S., U.K., and Canada.  This is a floating line with a 1m clear AquaLux Intermediate tip.  Perfect for nymphing or fishing chironomids in the top 12 inches of the water column, shalow shore lines, and over the top of weed beds.  This line is a must for the serious lake angler.

LazySink Fly Line
For precise depth control in the upper water layers you need a very slow sinking line and the LazySink is just that.  The line sinks at an incredibly slow speed of 0.6ips and is perfect for fishing nymphs and chironomids in the top 6-18inches.  It is the ideal choice for fishing over the top of weed beds and on windy, choppy days when it's difficult to differentiate between a subtle take and teh slap of the waves when using a floating line.  This means greater bite detection in these conditions.

AquaLux Fly Line
The Perfect Lake line with and intermediate sink rate of 1.5-2.0ips.  Ideal when stealth is required for wary selective fish.  Based on our Classic weight foreward taper for supperior casting, this transparent, clear line with a single strand monofilament core remains flexible in cold water lakes.  Made with superior adhesion technology, a leader can be nail-knotted directly to the coating.

Deep 7 Fly Line
This full sinking fly line was developed for the expert competition reservoir "buzzer" or chironomid anglers in the UK who need to get their flies down deep fast.  The Deep 7, built on an ultra thin, single strand monofilament core, is one of the fastest and most durable sinking lines in the world.  Sinks at 7-9ips.

Density Compinsated 7ft and 15ft Tapered Sinking Tip Fly Line
Designed with a balanced length of thick floating body so there is no hinge, or kick during the casting stroke.  Density compensation stops the probleem of sinking tips, or full sinking lines from sinking in a curve.  With density compensation the tip sinks at the same speed as the body producing more strikes, precise depth control, and better strike detection.  These lines are available with a 7 or 15ft sinking tip and have a coldwater tungsten coating on a braided multifilament core.
Price: $79.98
Density Compensated 24ft Tapered Sinking Tip Fly Line
The short, thick body section behind the sinking tip makes these lines much easier to cast than competing lines.  The durable running line ensures that these fly lines will outlast anything else available.  With faster sinking speeds, these lines are unbeatable for trout and all types of anadromous fish.
Price: $79.98
Density Compensated Full Sinking Fly Line
DC taperd sinking fly lines are easier to cast than traditional level sinking lines.  Rio's manufacturing process enables smoother casting and uniform sink rates.  In density compensated sinking lines, the sink rate of the tip equals the sink rate of the mid section allowing the tip to sink first and put the fly in the strike zone.  For all fishing conditions.  Tungsten cold water coating.
